La Bionda brothers had a prominent role in Italian disco scene and a lot of their releases became hits here in Italy during the 70s and the 80s, just to name a few: “One for You, One for Me”, “There for Me”, “I Got Your Number”, “Bandido”, “I Wanna Be Your Lover” and many other.
We may not to forget they also ran a side projects called D.D. Sound which had many hits in Italy and all around the world as well.
All these records are for sure in our vault, but we also have a less known 12’’ from the 1981 produced by this great duo: it’s called “Boxes”, a bass-driven dreamy synth pop delicatessen with infamous chorus and killer trumpet solo.
In our opinion this is an absolute italo gem we suggest to grab before some high level DJ put it in his set and consequentely Discogs prices go up in the sky 😉
