The Obscure Music Club loves to take you in countries you’d never think they may have an underground electronic scene, especially in past decades like the ‘70s or the ‘80s. This time the chosen one is Adrian Enescu, from Romania.
Not so many information are available about him…we only know he was a pioneer in the local music scene, and became relatively famous as a film and TV scores composer, beside an important career as composer for theatre and ballet all around the world.
Song we posted here is called “Double Time Push Rock” and it comes from the first of two releases Adrian Enescu dedicated to a danceable/funky synthesizer music.
Unfortunately he recently passed away, but his pioneering music is still alive, in order to testify that there are no boundaries for the music experimentation in the 80s…beyond the Iron Curtain as well!
